The BLOKC, together with Base Philippines and Adamson University's Neo Science and Technology Incubation Center (AdUNEST), co-organized an in-person workshop as part of the Base Batches IRL program — bringing hands-on Web3 learning directly to Filipino students and developers.
Held in April 2025, the event marked a meaningful convergence of blockchain education, university innovation, and community building in the Philippines. By partnering with AdUNEST, one of the country's active university-based technology incubation centers, the initiative reinforced the growing bridge between academic institutions and the Web3 ecosystem.
Base Batches IRL is an initiative by Base — Coinbase's Layer 2 blockchain network — designed to connect builders and learners through real-world, in-person experiences. The Philippine leg of this program demonstrated the country's expanding role in the global blockchain community.
The BLOKC's involvement highlights its ongoing commitment to making Web3 education accessible across the Philippines — from grassroots communities to university campuses. Through collaborations like this, aspiring blockchain developers and innovators gain exposure to cutting-edge tools, ecosystems, and networks that can accelerate their journey in the decentralized web.
Stay tuned for more updates on upcoming workshops, events, and programs from The BLOKC and its growing network of partners across the country.
