The BLOKC brought its Web3 education efforts to the University of Cebu (UC) Main Campus for a back-to-back event that united two exciting activations under one roof — #CpEYESTA and #BUILDINGBLOKCS, with a spotlight on the Solana blockchain ecosystem.
Held on October 27, 2023, the back-to-back setup allowed BLOKC to engage a wider audience across different student groups and interest levels. Whether attendees were discovering blockchain for the first time or looking to deepen their knowledge of a specific ecosystem, the dual-event format ensured there was something meaningful for everyone.
The first leg of the day tied into CpEYESTA, an event anchored in the Computer Engineering community. This brought BLOKC's mission of mainstream Web3 education directly to engineering students — a natural fit, given the technical foundations that blockchain technology shares with computer engineering disciplines.
The second leg carried the #BUILDINGBLOKCS banner, BLOKC's signature program for equipping students and young professionals with practical Web3 knowledge. With Solana as the featured blockchain, participants were introduced to one of the fastest and most developer-friendly ecosystems in the space — a platform increasingly relevant for builders and entrepreneurs entering the Web3 world.
This back-to-back activation at UC Main Campus is a testament to BLOKC's commitment to taking blockchain education where the next generation of innovators already are — inside university campuses across the Philippines. By meeting students in their own environment, BLOKC continues to lower the barrier to entry for Web3 learning and community participation.
Stay tuned for more BLOKC events coming to a campus near you. 🚀
