The BLOKC recently wrapped up a successful collaboration with Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) – National University Main Campus and National University Philippines, bringing blockchain education to the forefront of the campus tech community.
The event, held under the banner of the #SolanaDevelopersBootcamp, gave student developers a focused opportunity to dive into one of the most high-performance blockchain ecosystems in the Web3 space — Solana. The bootcamp is part of BLOKC's ongoing mission to equip the next generation of Filipino developers with the skills and knowledge needed to build in the decentralized economy.
By teaming up with GDSC National University, BLOKC was able to reach an engaged and technically curious student community eager to explore blockchain development beyond theory. Participants were exposed to Solana's architecture, its developer tooling, and the broader opportunities available in the Web3 builder space.
This collaboration reflects BLOKC's commitment to embedding blockchain education directly into universities and student-led tech organizations across the Philippines. Partnering with established communities like GDSC allows BLOKC to scale its reach and ensure that more Filipino students have access to cutting-edge Web3 knowledge.
The energy and enthusiasm from the National University community made this bootcamp a standout experience, and BLOKC is grateful for the warm reception and strong support from both GDSC NU Main Campus and National University Philippines.
As the Philippine blockchain ecosystem continues to grow, initiatives like the Solana Developers Bootcamp play a crucial role in building a strong local talent pipeline — one student developer at a time.
Stay tuned for more BLOKC events, workshops, and bootcamps coming your way. LFG! 🚀
