The Core Connect Bootcamp – Cebu Cohort is officially underway, bringing together blockchain enthusiasts and learners at the DOST Complex, Sudlon St., Lahug, Cebu City.
This ongoing bootcamp is a collaborative effort between three key organizations: the Junior Blockchain Education Consortium of the Philippines (Googlers), Core DAO Philippines, and The BLOKC. Together, they are delivering a hands-on blockchain learning experience to participants in the Cebu region.
Representing Core DAO Philippines at the event is Ry Ozaki, Core DAO Philippines Lead Ambassador, who joins facilitators and mentors in guiding attendees through the bootcamp's curriculum.
The Core Connect Bootcamp is designed to deepen participants' understanding of blockchain technology with a focus on the Core DAO ecosystem — a Bitcoin-powered, EVM-compatible blockchain network. By hosting this cohort in Cebu, the initiative extends Web3 education beyond Metro Manila, reinforcing the commitment of all three organizations to building a more inclusive and technically capable blockchain community across the Philippines.
This partnership reflects The BLOKC's ongoing mission to make blockchain education accessible to Filipinos nationwide — from foundational concepts to more advanced, developer-oriented skills. Events like the Core Connect Bootcamp are essential stepping stones for nurturing the next generation of Filipino blockchain builders and innovators.
Stay tuned for more updates as the Cebu Cohort progresses!
