
The BLOKC hosted a hands-on workshop focused on one of the most foundational skills in blockchain development — creating an ERC20 token. Participants were guided through the process of building and deploying their very first ERC20 token on the Core Testnet using Solidity and Hardhat, two of the most widely used tools in the Ethereum-compatible development ecosystem.
Leading the workshop was Mr. Jerome Monte, a multifaceted blockchain professional with an impressive background spanning development, community building, and education.
Jerome currently serves as Co-Founder of Selyo and as a Tech Ambassador for CoreDAO, bringing firsthand experience with the Core blockchain ecosystem directly to participants. He also works as a Freelance Frontend Developer and Layout Artist, giving him a well-rounded perspective on both the technical and creative sides of Web3 development.
