The BLOKC, in partnership with the Solana Foundation, is launching the first leg of the Solana Developers Bootcamp in the Philippines — and it's heading straight to one of the country's top IT and engineering institutions: the School of Information Technology, Mapúa University.
This free, 2-week hands-on and intensive bootcamp is designed to equip aspiring blockchain developers with the skills and knowledge needed to build on the Solana ecosystem. Participants can expect a deep dive into Solana development through structured, practical learning sessions led by experienced mentors.
Mapúa is just the beginning. For those who weren't selected for the first leg or are unable to travel to Metro Manila, there's good news — The BLOKC is bringing the bootcamp to other universities across the Philippines, including sessions in Visayas and Mindanao. Additional legs will be announced soon, so there's still plenty of opportunity to join.
Interested participants can sign up at lu.ma/SFxBLOKC. Stay tuned to The BLOKC's official channels for updates on the full program lineup and upcoming bootcamp schedules nationwide.
This initiative reflects The BLOKC's commitment to expanding Web3 education beyond Metro Manila and making blockchain development accessible to Filipino developers across the archipelago. With the Solana Foundation's support, this bootcamp series marks a significant step toward growing the local Solana developer community in Southeast Asia.
