The BLOKC has successfully concluded another run of its Solana Developers Bootcamp, held in partnership with the Mapúa University School of Information Technology. The bootcamp brought together aspiring blockchain developers for an intensive, hands-on learning experience centered on building within the Solana ecosystem.
The BLOKC extended its gratitude to Mapúa University for once again opening its doors and providing a space that fosters innovation and forward-thinking education. The university's commitment to equipping students with future-ready skills made it the perfect venue for this technical deep-dive into Solana development.
The bootcamp was made possible with the support of the Solana Foundation, underscoring the program's alignment with the broader goal of growing the Solana developer community in the Philippines. Participants who completed the program are now on their way to becoming Certified Solana Developers — a milestone that reflects their dedication and technical growth throughout the course.
Looking ahead, the community is invited to celebrate this achievement at the upcoming Solana Community Meetup on August 3, 2023, where newly certified developers will be formally welcomed into the growing Philippine Solana community. The event is ticketed with limited seats available, so interested attendees are encouraged to secure their spot early at lu.ma/BUILDINGBLOKCS.
This bootcamp is part of The BLOKC's ongoing mission to build a strong Web3 talent pipeline in the Philippines — one developer at a time. With each cohort, the local Solana ecosystem grows stronger, and the country edges closer to becoming a leading hub for blockchain innovation in Southeast Asia.
Stay tuned for announcements on future bootcamp runs and community events. Onwards and upwards! 🚀
