The BLOKC brought its Web3 education mission to Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) Taguig on November 4, 2024, as part of the Tech Talk 2.0: Web3 Demystified – Unblocking Opportunities through Learning and Earning event.
Representing The BLOKC was Mr. Mark Hugh B. Neri, widely known in the community as DevKodigo, who took the stage to introduce students to the world of blockchain technology and the growing opportunities it presents. The session was designed to break down the complexities of Web3 and make it accessible to the next generation of Filipino tech talent.
The event lived up to its theme — empowering attendees not just to understand Web3, but to actively learn and earn within the blockchain space. Students were engaged and enthusiastic, demonstrating a strong readiness to explore careers and opportunities in the emerging Web3 industry.
This kind of campus outreach reflects The BLOKC's ongoing commitment to bringing blockchain literacy to Filipino students and communities across the country. By partnering with academic institutions like TUP Taguig, The BLOKC continues to bridge the gap between traditional education and the rapidly evolving digital economy.
A big thank you to TUP Taguig for hosting and supporting this initiative, and to everyone who made the event possible. The energy and curiosity of the students present is a promising sign of the Philippines' growing presence in the global Web3 landscape.
