The BLOKC was honored to participate as a curriculum consultant at iACADEMY's Annual Program Advisory Council (PAC) meeting for its Computer Science and Information Technology programs, held on October 5, 2023.
The Program Advisory Council brings together industry experts, alumni, and academic leaders to evaluate and refine iACADEMY's course offerings, ensuring that students receive a relevant and future-ready education. This year's session proved to be a productive exchange of ideas, with The BLOKC contributing its expertise in blockchain technology and Web3 to help shape the direction of iACADEMY's CS and IT curricula.
Representatives from The BLOKC shared valuable industry insights and practical experience, offering feedback on subject offerings and programs alongside fellow industry professionals, alumni, and faculty members — including Dean Kiko Napalit. The collaborative discussion highlighted the growing importance of emerging technologies such as blockchain in preparing the next generation of Filipino tech professionals for the demands of a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
This engagement reflects The BLOKC's commitment to not only educating the broader community about Web3 but also influencing how blockchain and related topics are integrated into formal academic programs across the Philippines. By working closely with institutions like iACADEMY, The BLOKC continues to bridge the gap between cutting-edge industry developments and the classroom.
The BLOKC looks forward to continued collaboration with iACADEMY and other academic institutions as part of its broader mission to build a well-equipped and forward-thinking blockchain ecosystem in the country.
