The BLOKC continued its mission of bringing blockchain education to Filipino learners as Mark Hugh Neri — known in the community as DevKodigo, CTO of The BLOKC and Tech Lead of Solana Superteam Philippines — took the stage at Asia Pacific College's School of Engineering on October 29, 2024.
The session, titled "Web3 Unchained: Exploring Opportunities in Blockchain," aimed to open students' eyes to the vast career and entrepreneurial possibilities that the blockchain space has to offer. From decentralized applications to emerging roles in Web3 development, the talk gave engineering students a closer look at how the technology is reshaping industries — and how they can be part of that transformation.
DevKodigo brought both technical depth and real-world perspective to the discussion, drawing from his experience leading blockchain infrastructure at The BLOKC and supporting developer ecosystems through Solana Superteam Philippines. His dual role in education and industry makes him a compelling voice for students standing at the crossroads of traditional tech careers and the decentralized future.
This campus visit is part of The BLOKC's ongoing effort to bridge the gap between academic institutions and the Web3 industry in the Philippines. By reaching learners where they are — inside classrooms and lecture halls — The BLOKC continues to seed the next generation of Filipino blockchain builders, developers, and innovators.
And the momentum doesn't stop here. The BLOKC's next stop is the IoT Conference Philippines, where the team will continue engaging with the broader tech community and exploring the intersections of emerging technologies.
Stay tuned for more updates as The BLOKC brings Web3 education across the country — one event at a time.
