🚀 Get ready for a hands-on blockchain experience that blends learning, building, and a little friendly competition! Members of JBECP–JRU, JPCS–JRU, AWSSBG–JRU, and several other student organizations are coming together under one roof to explore the world of blockchain in a way that's accessible, practical, and genuinely fun. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some tech background, there's something here for you.
🧠 We'll kick things off with a deep dive into the fundamentals of blockchain — the core concepts that make decentralized technology tick. You'll get a solid grounding in how blockchain works, why it matters, and where it's headed, all delivered in a way that makes even the more technical bits easy to follow.
🛠️ Then we roll up our sleeves for a hands-on workshop built around Paiflow — a no-code solution for building payment flows on the Stellar blockchain, brought to you with Artisam Labs. You'll work directly with the platform and discover just how approachable blockchain development can be with the right tools. Paiflow's no-code approach means you don't need to be a seasoned developer to start building — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
🏆 Then the energy really picks up with a mini hackathon, where you'll put everything you've learned to the test. Teams will collaborate, brainstorm, and build out their own payment flow ideas using Paiflow — showcasing serious creativity in a short amount of time. It's not just about competition; it's about applying new knowledge in real time, learning from each other, and seeing what's possible when students from different organizations build toward a shared goal.
💡 By the end of the day, you'll walk away with a clearer understanding of blockchain, hands-on experience with a real-world tool, and a whole lot of new connections across the student community. Because the best way to understand something new? Just jump in and start building.
